The material has been selected for its capicity to inspire and propose innovative ideas on how to approach the design ot construction of different parts of new projects or a conversion. Divided into fifteen main thematic chapters, the details included are numbered in the layout and appear in order, 1 through 1000, and are illustrated with either close-up photographs or specific technical drawings, or both, and explained in concise short paragraphs next to the images. The table of contents has been conceived to cover a wide spectrum of needs and solutions, so the details included in the book may be useful to any type of architecture (residential, public, institutional, outdoors, indoors...), as long as they serve a real purpose and reveal a modern, intelligent and useful feature thsat stands out as inspirational.
