De Centrale Boekhandel purchases leftover stock, imports books and multimedia directly from England and the United States. It also buys slightly damaged or previous editions from publishers, retailers and book clubs at home and abroad. Books that are returned to the publishers can be sold for less, or at the Book Festival for a lot less. Sometimes the books may be slightly damaged and they can be sold to the public for extremely low prices. De Centrale Boekhandel sells these books and multimedia on fairs which she organises in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The Philosophy of De Centrale Boekhandel is an open book. We sell quality books at the lowest prices possible. We buy on a large scale, buy leftover stock and keep a sharp eye on all the costs. A formula for success for over twenty-five years!
